Domestic & Commercial Water Meters
Meters which employ the volumetric principle can be offered. Specific models are available which include direct read, pulse output and encoder type registers to meet customer requirements. We can also offer warm water multi-jet meters which employ the inferential principle of design these are supplied with a pulsed output as standard.
Flanged Bulk Water Meters
Bulk flow meters are manufactured for the purpose of monitoring large flows of water for water system management and commercial billing purposes. We can offer helical vane meters with pulse outputs for operation with various auxiliary equipment. Combination meters are manufactured for installations where wide variation in flow can be expected, such as in hospitals, schools, offices and other places where both low and high flows can occur. Large commercial single jet meters are also available which have a low flow capability, which makes them ideal for revenue collection.
Electromagnetic Water Meters
Commonly referred to as “mag meters”, using electromagnetic properties to determine the water flow velocity, rather than mechanical means which jet and turbine meters use. Elster’s electromagnetic water meters are designed for measuring bulk flows of cold potable water for revenue billing in commercial or industrial applications and distribution system monitoring. It can also be used for irrigation management of agricultural land.
