JV190019 – Hydrostatic Pneumatic Tank Contents Gauge
These gauges are connected to the tank by a capillary tube which enters through the top of the tank and extends to the bottom of the vessel. Incorporated in the gauges are a pneumatic pump, which has to be operated every time a reading is required, and this pump balances the static pressure head of the liquid contained in the tank against a membrane, resulting in an indication of the tank’s contents.
